WonHundred Word Wednesday

This is my first WonHundred Word Wednesday and admittedly I am nervous. A group of writers get the exact same prompt, then we each have to write a 100 word story from that. It is fun to see how each person comes up with something different from the same set of words. Keep reading to see my first story.

Today was the day. Four years of college followed by three years of law school. Endless nights of studying until dawn. Eventually, I had a coffee addiction and near permanent bags under my eyes. A nervous twitch developed while preparing for the Boards. I made it. I became the lawyer I always thought I would be.

Fresh out of law school, living on my own with no roommates and today was my first day on the job. I smiled at the lady who stood across from me and asked, “Would you like fries with that?”

Don't forget to head over to the other blogs to see how their stories turned out.
