Today was the day. Four years of college followed by three
years of law school. Endless nights of studying until dawn. Eventually, I had a
coffee addiction and near permanent bags under my eyes. A nervous twitch
developed while preparing for the Boards. I made it. I became the lawyer I
always thought I would be.
Fresh out of law school, living on my own with no roommates
and today was my first day on the job. I smiled at the lady who stood across
from me and asked, “Would you like fries with that?”
