WonHundred Word Wednesday- "You know what they say. . ."

Wednesday is here! I am loving WonHundred Word Wednesday! It gives me something to look forward to. Something challenging to write and the fun of reading what everyone else comes up with. This week was busy. When I read the prompt so many things ran through my head but none seemed like something I could use. This weeks prompt.

 I was falling for this stranger who walked into my life a few weeks before. He was a dream come true; opening doors for me, lending me his jacket. He was all I could see.  

I could feel his warm breath on my skin. I leaned in for the kiss, allowing myself to love him. When I opened my eyes I couldn’t see his piercing grey eyes, dark unruly hair, and sweet smile.

“I can’t see, Devin!”

His smooth voice calm as he let go allowing me to fall into darkness. “You know what they say…Love makes you blind.”
