I stared at the flames that had...
I stared at the flames that had quenched my hunger. Who knew
vengeance could feel so sickening? They had destroyed my family, my friends, and
my home; had caused me to become this warrior. Every step I took was another
one closer to the border reivers who had stolen away everything in one night. After
tracking them for months I found them passed out drunk in an abandoned barn.
I tossed a torch onto the thatched roof and watched. The screams had faded long
ago but the smell of burning flesh would forever be burnt into my memory.
Now go check out what everyone else did with this week's prompt. I know I am looking forward to seeing what they wrote.
